BATCH FRYER

Batch Fryer Machine Manufacturer in India – SS Engineering Works

SS Engineering Works started making batch fryer machines in 2011. The factory is in Greater Noida and has been running ever since. We supply complete frying lines to namkeen manufacturers, snack units, and food processing companies across India. Small setups start at 50 kg/hr. Established brands running full shifts go up to 500 kg/hr. Haldiram, Bikaji, Bikano, and Patanjali are among our regular clients.

Every batch fryer machine we build is sized to your exact output requirement and fuel preference -not picked from a standard catalogue. Come to our Ecotech III factory. Watch the machine run. Ask every question you have. Then decide. That is how most of our orders start.

  • Capacity: 50 kg/hr to 500 kg/hr
  • Fuel options: LPG, diesel, wood pellet, thermic fluid
  • Suitable for namkeen, fryums, papad, kurkure, and mixed snacks
  • SS304 food-grade stainless steel on all food-contact surfaces
  • Independent temperature and timer control per batch
  • Free installation and operator training included
  • Clients: Haldiram, Bikaji, Bikano, Patanjali

What Our Batch Fryer Machine Includes

Every batch fryer machine leaves our Greater Noida factory ready for production. No assembly required on your end. Each unit ships with these components as standard:

  • SS304 rectangular fryer body -integrated oil chamber with precision temperature-managed heating
  • Thermostat and digital temperature controller -maintains consistent frying heat from batch to batch
  • Manual or semi-automatic loading basket -selected based on required throughput
  • Built-in oil filter system -continuously removes starch particles so oil stays clean all shift
  • De-oiling conveyor -VFD-controlled belt speed for smooth product handling
  • Flavour drum with slurry delivery system -uniform salt and masala coating on every piece
  • PLC control panel with operator HMI -on fully automatic variants

All food-contact parts are SS304. The oil filter is standard on every unit -not an add-on. Fryums and namkeen shed starch into hot oil fast. Two or three batches in, oil starts darkening. Dark oil means dark product. By batch five or six, colour is inconsistent across the load and you cannot fix it mid-shift. We include the filter because the buyers who asked us to remove it to save cost called back later wishing they hadn’t.

Capacity Options

We manufacture batch fryer machines in four standard capacity ranges:

Capacity Best For
50 kg/hr Small namkeen and snack units starting batch frying -compact footprint, lower investment
100 kg/hr Regional brands scaling output to meet distributor demand
250 kg/hr Manufacturers running full shifts with multiple product types on the same line
500 kg/hr Large-scale industrial frying for high-volume snack lines

50 or 100 kg/hr is where most buyers start. Nobody calls us asking for 500 on the first order. The factory visit question we hear every time: what do I do when I need more output? Simple -our fryers are designed so a second unit installs beside the first in a single day. No new plumbing layout. No production shutdown. Call +91 98184 89414, give us your daily output number, and we will tell you exactly which size to start with.

Fryer Types We Manufacture

Batch Fryer

One load at a time. That is the batch fryer in one line. You set the fry time, oil temperature, and load size for each batch separately. Change it for the next product. Change it again for the one after. Namkeen in the morning, fryums after lunch, papad in the evening -the batch fryer handles all three on the same machine without any modifications between runs.

  • Fixed-load frying with manual or semi-automatic loading
  • Independent temperature and time control per batch
  • Suitable for namkeen, fryums, papad, mixed snacks
  • Heating options: LPG, diesel, wood pellet, thermic fluid
  • Capacity: 50 to 100 kg/hr equivalent output
  • SS304 food-contact construction throughout

Diesel Batch Fryer

No gas line at your factory location? That is exactly why this variant exists. Diesel reaches every corner of India -city or village. The burner connects through an indirect heat exchanger, so combustion gases and frying oil never share the same side. Cheaper diesel fryers skip the heat exchanger. The result is combustion smell absorbed directly into your product. We don’t cut that corner.

  • Diesel burner with indirect heat exchanger -no flue gas contact with oil
  • Thermostat-controlled temperature for repeatable frying results
  • Rectangular or circular fryer body available
  • Suitable for namkeen, fryums, kurkure, papad
  • Capacity: 50 to 250 kg/hr
  • SS304 food-contact surfaces throughout

Wood Pellet Batch Fryer

Wood pellet fuel runs 40–50% cheaper per kg than LPG across most of Rajasthan, Punjab, and UP. Two-shift manufacturers feel that difference every month on the fuel bill. The heating design is indirect -same as our diesel model. Combustion gases stay separate from the frying oil at all times. Buyers in these states who switch to wood pellet in year one rarely go back to LPG.

  • Wood pellet fuel -lower running cost than diesel and LPG in most markets
  • Indirect heating -combustion gases fully separated from frying oil
  • Rectangular SS304 fryer body
  • Suitable for namkeen, fryums, papad, mathri, chakli
  • Capacity: 50 to 500 kg/hr

Continuous Automatic Fryer

Not every factory needs a continuous fryer. If your line switches between namkeen, fryums, and papad through the day, changeover on a continuous fryer costs you more time than the automation saves. But single-product, full-shift production is a different story. Product feeds in from the hopper, the submerger conveyor holds every piece below the oil surface for the exact same duration, and fried snacks discharge at the other end without anyone loading a basket. Colour at piece 1 and piece 10,000 will match.

  • Fully automatic -hopper feed, submerger conveyor, automatic discharge
  • Continuous oil filtration -cleaner oil and consistent colour all shift
  • PLC-controlled temperature throughout the process
  • Suitable for kurkure, namkeen, fryums, cheese balls, corn rings
  • Capacity: 100 to 500 kg/hr

Rectangular Fryer

The rectangular batch fryer is what most namkeen and mixed snack factories run. The rectangular chamber holds more oil per batch than a circular design, distributes heat more evenly across the load, and opens from the side for cleaning at shift end. If your line runs sev, boondi, bhujia, fryums, and papad on the same machine across the day -this is the right configuration.

  • Rectangular oil chamber -higher oil volume and improved heat distribution
  • Side-access layout for easy daily cleaning
  • Heating options: LPG, diesel, or wood pellet
  • Capacity: 50 to 500 kg/hr

Circular Fryer

Round snacks -corn rings, chakli, round fryums -pile up in the corners of a rectangular fryer. Corner piling means the pieces in the middle fry at a different rate from the ones jammed at the edge. Uneven colour follows. The circular batch fryer exists to fix that one problem. The round chamber keeps pieces moving naturally during frying. No corners. No piling. Consistent colour across the whole batch.

  • Circular oil chamber -natural circulation for round and ring-shaped snacks
  • Even colour output -no corner build-up or piling
  • Heating options: LPG, diesel, or wood pellet
  • Capacity: 50 to 250 kg/hr

Batch Fryer Machine -Frequently Asked Questions

Questions we receive most often from buyers before ordering a batch fryer machine from SS Engineering Works.

What is a batch fryer machine?

Load. Fry. Drain. Wait. That is the batch fryer cycle. The part that determines product quality is oil temperature -if it drifts between load 1 and load 8, colour varies on shelves. Our batch fryer machines hold temperature consistently across every batch using a thermostat and digital controller. We build them for namkeen, fryums, papad, kurkure, and mixed snack lines in LPG, diesel, wood pellet, and continuous automatic configurations.

What is the difference between a batch fryer and a continuous fryer?

Batch fryers give you control. You set fry time, temperature, and load size differently for each product. That is why multi-product lines use them. Continuous fryers give you volume. Same product, same rate, all shift -no operator loading. One SKU at high output? Continuous wins. Four SKUs with recipe changes across the day? Batch wins. We manufacture both and will tell you which one fits your floor before you commit to anything.

What is the batch fryer machine price in India?

Batch fryer machine price depends on capacity (50–500 kg/hr), type (batch or continuous), body configuration (rectangular or circular), and fuel (LPG, diesel, wood pellet). Every machine is built to the buyer’s specification -that is why we do not list prices online. Call +91 98184 89414 with your capacity requirement and we will give you a direct quote.

What products can be fried in a batch fryer?

Namkeen, fryums, papad, kurkure, corn rings, cheese balls, mathri, chakli, bhujia, boondi, sev, poha -the batch fryer handles all of them. More importantly, it handles all of them on the same machine in the same day. Each product gets its own temperature setting, fry time, and load size. That per-batch control is what makes a batch fryer the right choice for mixed-product lines.

What fuel options are available for batch fryers?

LPG, diesel, wood pellet, thermic fluid -all four are available. Every variant uses an indirect heat exchanger. That means combustion gases and frying oil are always on separate sides of the system. We recommend fuel type based on your location, what is consistently available nearby, and what running cost target you are working toward.

Which batch fryer capacity should I choose?

Start at 50 or 100 kg/hr. Scale when orders justify it. Most buyers who call us asking for 250 or 500 kg/hr on their first purchase end up starting smaller after one honest conversation about daily demand. Producers running regular distributor supply operate at 250 to 500 kg/hr. Tell us your daily output target and we will size the batch fryer machine correctly -we have also built non-standard in-between capacities at no extra cost.

Do you supply batch fryers outside Delhi NCR?

Yes -Rajasthan, Punjab, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and beyond. Every order includes installation and commissioning at your factory, regardless of state. Call +91 98184 89414 to sort out delivery timelines and installation scheduling for your location.

What warranty and after-sales support do you provide?

Free on-site installation. Operator training at your factory. One-year mechanical warranty on every part. After the warranty ends, Annual Maintenance Contracts are available. Spare parts ship from Greater Noida directly -no middleman delay, fast turnaround, production downtime kept short.
