CONTINUOUS AUTOMATIC FRYER MACHINE

Continuous Automatic Fryer Machine – SS Engineering Works, Greater Noida

Since 2011, we’ve been producing Our automatic fryer machine has been manufactured at Ecotech III, Greater Noida since 2011 not assembled, fully manufactured. This isn’t assembly work -it’s full-scale manufacturing. From the fryer tank to the submerger conveyor, each part is fabricated inside our own facility. Brands like Haldiram, Bikaji, Bikano, and Patanjali operate our machines on their production lines.

In simple terms, the process is seamless: raw product enters at one side, and fried, seasoned output exits at the other -without any interruptions. No operator handling batch loading. No downtime between cycles. Depending on your requirement, the system delivers 100, 250, or 500 kg/hr, running smoothly for one shift or even three.

If your existing frying process forces an employee to stand by the fryer and add product every few minutes, you may be losing roughly 15–25% of your possible daily production to that downtime alone. A continuous automatic fryer eliminates that interruption completely. Call +91 98184 89414.

What the Machine Includes

Every unit ships as a complete line. No third-party components to source or integrate. What you receive:

  • Infeed conveyor -feeds product at a controlled, adjustable rate
  • Integrated pre-fryer -equalises moisture before product reaches main frying oil
  • Main fryer tank -SS304 with indirect heat exchanger, full side-access for cleaning
  • Submerger conveyor -SS304, VFD speed and immersion depth adjustable from HMI
  • Conveyor oil filter -removes starch continuously, oil quality stays consistent all shift
  • De-oiling conveyor -removes surface oil the moment product exits the fryer
  • Flavour drum -slurry delivery for uniform masala and salt coverage
  • PLC panel with touchscreen HMI -controls temperature zones, belt speed, immersion independently

One thing buyers regularly tell us they did not expect to matter as much as it does: the pre-fryer. When extruded product like kurkure or fryums pellets comes off the extruder or dryer, the surface moisture is not uniform across pieces. Put that directly into full-depth hot oil and expansion is inconsistent -some pieces puff completely, others come out dense or partially fried. The pre-fryer brings surface moisture to a consistent level before the main zone. After that, every piece behaves the same in the oil. It is a straightforward fix to a problem that costs manufacturers significant rework and rejection at high volumes.

How It Actually Runs

Seven steps. None of them require an operator to do anything except monitor:

  1. Infeed conveyor moves product into the pre-fryer at the set feed rate
  2. Pre-fryer equalises surface moisture -takes 20 to 40 seconds depending on product
  3. Product enters the main fryer tank and submerger conveyor holds it below oil at the set depth
  4. PLC maintains oil temperature independently across zones -load variation does not cause temperature swings
  5. Conveyor oil filter pulls starch particles out throughout the shift -no manual filter cleaning mid-production
  6. De-oiling conveyor removes surface oil before product reaches the flavour drum
  7. Flavour drum coats with salt and masala slurry and discharges to packing

A 500 kg/hr line running three shifts will produce the same quality piece at 6 AM and at 11 PM. Not because the operator is careful -because the machine runs the same cycle regardless of who is watching.

Continuous vs Batch -The Honest Comparison

Most buyers planning a frying line ask this before anything else. Here is the direct answer:

Factor Continuous Automatic Fryer Batch Fryer
How it works Operates nonstop through the entire shift, no pauses between products Loads, fries, and unloads in discrete cycles -one batch at a time
Best suited for One product at high volume, dedicated production lines Several products daily, flexible changeovers
Output uniformity Uniform piece-to-piece results across the whole shift Consistent within batches, slight variation between batches
Labour 1 operator monitors the line 1–2 operators per fryer for loading and unloading
Capacity 100 to 500 kg/hr 50 to 500 kg/hr
Product changeover Slower -full line purge required Fast -next product starts with next batch
Cost Higher initial investment Lower initial investment

The decision is straightforward. One product, full shifts, 100 kg/hr or above -use the continuous automatic fryer. Three or four products per day with frequent switching -use the rectangular batch fryer. If your operation sits somewhere in between, call us and we will tell you exactly which setup makes sense.

Capacity Options

Capacity Ideal For
100 kg/hr Single-shift regional producers focusing on one product line
250 kg/hr Two-shift kurkure or fryums production setups
500 kg/hr Three-shift, high-output lines supplying distributors at scale

The 500 kg/hr unit running three shifts can produce up to 12,000 kg per day from a single line. The 100 kg/hr is where most first-time continuous fryer buyers start. Call +91 98184 89414 with your daily kg target -not hourly, daily -and we will size it correctly from there.

What It Fries

Kurkure, extruded corn snacks, fryums pellets, namkeen, potato chips, banana chips, sev, boondi, pellet-based snacks -any product running at high volume on a dedicated line.

Fryums pellet lines require a submerger conveyor to hold pellets at a constant immersion depth -that depth directly controls expansion. A batch fryer cannot match this precision at 250 or 500 kg/hr because product floats and depth keeps varying. In our continuous automatic fryer, the submerger conveyor holds each pellet at the exact preset depth for the exact preset belt residence time. Expansion stays uniform. Colour stays uniform. Rejection and waste remain minimal.

Kurkure and extruded corn snack lines specifically need the pre-fryer zone. Extruded raw product carries inconsistent moisture from the extruder. The integrated pre-fryer in our automatic fryer machine equalises that before the product reaches full-depth oil -which is why our kurkure lines produce uniform puff expansion with no dense or partially fried pieces across the full shift.

Why SS Engineering Works

No distributors. No resellers. The same person who fabricates your fryer commissions it on-site and answers your call when you need a tweak six months later. We’ve delivered machines to manufacturers across Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Maharashtra, and Gujarat. The recurring comment from buyers who came to us after other suppliers: once the machine was installed, no one was reachable. We don’t operate like that.

Continuous Automatic Fryer Machine -Frequently Asked Questions

What is a continuous automatic fryer machine?

A continuous industrial fryer designed to operate nonstop. Uncooked product feeds in through an infeed conveyor, moves beneath a submerger at precisely controlled speed and immersion depth, then exits as fully fried and seasoned output -without any manual loading at any stage. We build capacities from 100 to 500 kg/hr in LPG, diesel, and wood pellet versions.

How is it different from a batch fryer?

A batch fryer loads one fixed quantity, fries it, and unloads before the next batch starts. A continuous fryer never stops -product flows through all shift. Running one product for a full shift at 100 kg/hr or more, the continuous fryer wins on output per shift and labour cost. Switching products frequently through the day, a batch fryer is more practical.

What is the automatic fryer machine price in India?

Automatic fryer machine price depends on capacity (100 to 500 kg/hr), fuel type, and included components. We build to spec -no standard price list. Call +91 98184 89414 for a quote.

Why is a pre-fryer zone necessary?

Extruded snacks carry uneven surface moisture from the extruder. Without moisture equalisation first, pieces expand at different rates in the main oil -some puff fully, some stay dense. The pre-fryer fixes that before the product reaches full-depth oil. Every unit we supply includes it as standard.

Which capacity do I need?

Tell us your daily kg target -not hourly. We will work backwards from there to the right capacity and shift configuration. Call +91 98184 89414.

Do you install outside Delhi NCR?

Yes. Installation and commissioning included regardless of location -Rajasthan, Punjab, Maharashtra, Gujarat, anywhere in India.

What warranty is included?

1-year mechanical warranty on every component. Free on-site installation and operator training. AMC available after warranty period ends. Spare parts dispatched same week from Greater Noida.
