What Our Popcorn Production Line Includes

All food-contact parts are SS304 stainless steel. The caramel coating machine uses controlled temperature and tumbling speed to ensure the coating sets evenly across each kernel uneven caramel sets hard in patches, which causes breakage in the bag and complaints from retail buyers.
Flavour Formats This Line Handles
The line is configured differently depending on your flavour range. Oil-based flavours salted, cheese, masala, butter use a seasoning drum after popping. Sugar-based flavours caramel, chocolate, strawberry cream need a separate coating machine with temperature control and a cooling section after coating. Most buyers in India start with a salted line and add a caramel configuration when they expand. We build both as standalone lines or as a combined plant where both formats share the popper and handling conveyors.

Semi-Automatic vs Fully Automatic
We supply both. The semi-automatic line uses manual intervention at the popping and loading stages lower capital cost, smaller floor footprint, suitable for operations where labour cost is not the main constraint. The fully automatic line runs American corn seed through popping, shifting, seasoning and packaging conveyor without manual handling between stages. Labour requirement drops significantly. SEMI AUTOMATIC POP CORN PRODUCTION LINE, 100-1000KG PER HOUR
The semi-automatic popcorn production line handles
the full range of flavour formats oil-based salted, cheese and masala
lines on one end, sugar-based caramel, chocolate and strawberry cream
lines on the other. The popping, shifting and seasoning stages run on
the line. Loading and transfer between stages uses manual handling,
which keeps the capital cost lower and the floor footprint smaller
than a fully automatic setup. For operations where labour cost is
manageable and throughput requirements are in the 100 to 500 kg/hr
range, this is the version that makes sense.
Popcorn is one of the few snack formats that works for both
health-conscious buyers and impulse buyers at the same time low
calorie, light, and available in premium flavour variants that carry
higher margins than most fried snacks. The semi-automatic line lets
a smaller manufacturer enter that market without the capital outlay
of a fully automated plant.

FULLY AUTOMATIC POP CORN PRODUCTION LINE, 100-1000KG PER HOUR
The fully automatic popcorn production line runs
American corn seed through popping, shifting, seasoning and conveyor
handling without manual intervention between stages. One operator
monitors the line; the machine does the rest. At 500 kg/hr and above,
that labour reduction is where the payback calculation changes. Below
250 kg/hr, semi-automatic usually makes more financial sense
we’ll tell you which one before you order.
The line covers both savoury and sweet formats: a savory popcorn
making line for oil-based flavours and a caramel popcorn making line
for sugar-based coatings. Both use the same popper, shifter and
handling conveyors at the front end. The seasoning and coating
section is where the two configurations split. Manufacturers running
multiple flavour SKUs can share the front-end equipment and switch
the coating stage depending on production schedule.
